Does anyone have info on him? The was on the 1850 and 1860 censuses in Appomattox County, VA. Someone told me that he was the minister of Red Oak Baptist Church for about 50 years, but I saw two Samuel Davidsons on the 1830 and 1840 Campbell County, VA censuses, and I thought that one of them might have been this Samuel Davidson. He was apparently married to a Frances, and he may have married her in Campbell County, VA (where another Samuel Davidson of about the same age range also lived). Samuel may have also been in Charlotte County, VA (a Rev. Samuel Dvidson performed the marriage of Allen D. Davidson and Lucy Walker there in 1818). Thanks!
