It sounds like we may be related!

My father was Charles Elba Hollihan, son of Ella Tuning who was William's daughter.

I can't remember what census I looked at, but I did find one
in which William and his children were listed. His wife was listed as deceased. (It might have been PA). Anyway, Elba was the youngest child of William. Ella,(my grandmother was 12 years old. The other siblings were Harold, Warren and Annie. I did know my Great Uncle Warren and Great Aunt Annie.
