Hi! I am a descendant of George Jordan and I am hoping someone can help me find out more info about him.

Sometime before 1860, George Jordan and his sons moved to Boone County, WV (at that time still part of VA). It does not appear that George brought a wife -- though he must have been married!

Can anyone tell me who his wife was? What about her parents?

What about George's parents?

I am also interested in George's son, George. He may have been married before he moved to WV. (He went on to marry a woman named Venila Meadows.)

I have found a good bit of info on these Jordans post-1860, but I can find almost nothing *prior* to their move to Boone County.

Any information/leads would be very much appreciated.
