THE HENRY BULLETIN, Friday, July 27, 1917, (un-numbered page, preceeds p. 7), col. 2 [edited]. Mrs. Sarah A. Tibbs, wife of Mr. A. A.Tibbs, departed this life at her home near Fontaine (Henry Co.) last Sunday evening. She was born in Bland County, Va., Aug. 8, 1845. She was a Miss Hanshew before her marriage to Mr. Tibbs on June 30, 1872. Mr. and Mrs. Tibbs moved to Henry County 7 years ago and purchased the farm known as the Stone Place near Fontaine. Besides her husband she is survived by many nephews and nieces, several of whom being left orphans at an early age were taken into her home and received from her hands a mother's love and care.
