I have information that Thomas (b. 1732-1806, died in KY) and Walter (b. 1731-1793?, died in KY) sons of Thomas and Ann Bayne Middleton were in Botetourt County in the 1780's before moving to Lee County, VA and on to Kentucky.
I am searching for information regarding the death date of Thomas (1707-Aft. 1772), son of Thomas (1676-1745), son of Robert (1651-1708.) Although several researchers have reported the death date as 1762 or after 1767, I believe that the date is later. QUERY: If you have any tax, land, court or other records re: Thomas (1707-Aft. 1772) and his wife Ann Bayne Middleton (1712-Aft. 1772) in Loudon, Fauquier, Bedford, and Botetourt Counties, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Background to this Query:
A document "Synopsis of the Mental Guesswork of Hugh Calhoun Middleton based on records furnish ed to him by Mrs. Hester Bryant Glore," indicated that Thomas and Ann Middleton Bayne moved from Loudon County to Fauquier County, to Bedford County, and perhaps on to other counties.
In response to a query regarding Thomas and Ann Bayne Middleton on the Ancestry.com Loudon County, Query Board, I received the following information from Pat Duncan (February 21, 2006):
