I have hit a brickwall in my newly started research of my family history. I would appreciate any help anyone can provide on either of my gg-grandparents and taking them back further.

Here is what I have from recent to my gg-grandparents:

My grandparents are: *Herbert Hoover Ratliff*, B: 4-26-1929; born the son of Marion Colombus Ratliff,(son of Jeff Ratliff d:1908 and Nan (Nancy) Mullins) B:7-20-1890, d:10-13-1940 m:aug.29-1928 and Ellie Adkins Ratliff (daughter of Mose Adkins 2-12-1879 and Nancy Adkins 10-28-1880), b: 4-11-1904, d:1992 in Akron, Ohio
and
*Alta Fay Spears Ratliff*, B:6-12-1930, d:1-17-1952; born the daughter of Elkana (E.K.) Spears (son of Sillverster Spears and Melvina Cox), b: 3-5-1890, d:9-11-1970, m:12-25-? and Artie Meecy Childers (daughter of Noey Childers and Lou Emma Cantrell (Lou Emma's parents were Issac and Artie)), b:3-12-1901, d: 10-25-1971
