Someone posted on Findagrave.com that his parents were Isaiah "Ike" and Dolly Lawson Gibson. Apparently Ronald is buried in the same cemetery as Isaiah (1938-1998). Same source gives Isaiah's parents as James Lewis Gibson and Gladys Blankenship Gibson.

Don't know how accurate the info is but worth checking out.
