BROWNS OF LYNCHBURG, VA

I am seeking info on Edmund Brown and Mary Ann King of Lynchburg, VA. I believe their son Ferdinand may be my GGGrandfather Fred P. Brown, born 1859. All I know of Fred is that he was born in Lynchburg or Marysville to tobacco farmers. His parents died in his teens of Typhoid and this displaced all the children. He had an older brother named Alex and a younger sister, Polly. If anyone can confirm their cause of death or that they farmed tobacco, I would feel I've finally found his parents. I do know they had a son named Alexander and a daughter, Mary, that was born after Ferdinand. Being Mary was also the mothers name, they may have called her Polly, as was common. I also know that Edmund and Mary died within a month of each other in 1878, but no cause of death is listed. Help!?
