My ancestor Bartholomew "Bartly" FORD came fr Co Mayo Ireland; the local area was part of Co Sligo until 1898. He m Bridget MEARS in 1831 in Ballina, Co Mayo, and they emigrated to Chicago, IL USA by 1834. Their children's names were John Wilkes, Ellen Theresa, James M & Mary, which cd be clues to their parents.
