Thank you for the information Lorila/Leonila Pearson. I believe they are the same person.
Here is my information relating to that which also shows that the children of John B. Pearson and Margaret Rawlings included Leonila and William Pearson.
Rutherford Co Deeds Bk 1 pg 540: John B. Pearson deed of gift to Marguret (sic) Elizabeth Rawlings daughter of Joseph and Leonila Rawlings formerly Leonila Pearson. 2 horses, 6 cattle, 2 saddles, 26 hogs and furniture. 22 May 1843. Registered 19 Apr 1844. Signed John B. Pearson; John J. Bennett Clerk of Smith Co 22 May 1843. Delivered to Joseph Rawlings Apr 19, 1844.
Bk 9 pg 306: Wm Pearson gift to niece Margaret Elizabeth Rawlings dau of Joseph and Leonilla Rawlings formerly Leonilla Pearson (some horses) 6 Jan 1858.
Regarding you other question: Mary(Polly) Rawlings md Ambrose Cheaney October 07, 1805 in Charlotte Co., VA. Margaret (Peggy) Rawlings md John B. Pearson July 01, 1806 also in Charlotte Co., VA. (Charlotte Co. marriages: 1 July 1806. John B. PEARSON and Margaret Rawlins, dau. John Rawlins. Sur. Thomas Lee. Married 2 July by Rev. James Elmore.)
Both Rawlings women are daughters of John Rawlings of Charlotte Co., VA but Mary is likely the last daughter of his first wife, Sally (also mother of Sally and Letty). Margaret is likely the first daughter of his second wife Neff Terrill (daughter of James Terrill). Mary is thus likely a half sister and Margaret is a sister of the John and William Rawlings who both married (different) Sarah Hoovers and lived in Rutherford Co., TN.
