I am researching James Hines, Sr of Greene Georgia. I believe my James Hines of Jasper County Georgia was his son. I would be very interested in sharing details.

The only record I have found for James Hine's wife in Greene County is for a Manerva Hines, where in Greene County Deed Book BB, page 373, 2 March 1808. Manerva Hines relinquished all property left to her in her late husband's will to her son Elias Hines, with the exception of the property on which she resided, which she left to her son James Hines. Recorded 28 Feb 1810. Wits: Joel Shropshire, Catherine Shropshire.

This matches the details of James Hines' will, where his wife is not specifically named. I'm wondering if the Marymiah is a transcription error, or if the Manerva is an error, or if these are different people.
