I was reading old post on the Craig message board and came across an e-mail about the Elmore's.Since it alked about JamesElmore and Camilla Gant I thought I would write.

My Grandparents were William Bruce Elmore b. Feb 28 1876 in New Castle. He married Margie Lee Crowder.

William Bruce Elmore's Mother was Francis Taylor Elmore ( she never married )b. Mar. 1850 in New Castle.
Francis was the youngest child of Andrew Jackson Elmore and Elizabeth Murray Walker.

I have it that Andrew Jackson's parents were James Elmore b. 1788 in Orange Co. NC died 29 Nov 1895 and he was married to Camilla Gant b. in 1792 in Orange Co. NC.


My Mother Ella Virginia Elmore Baker is still living as well as her sister Muriel Elmore Robinson both of New Castle, but living in Florida now.
