Hello to all, I am working on the Humphreys. They started in 1735/40 with John R. Humphreys coming to American from Ireland to Pa.-then to the Greenbrier area. His son William A. Humphreys born 1780, lived in this area too then in later years to Paint Bank, Va. He had a son Anderson L. Humphreys born 1816 stayed in the Paint Bank area. Then Anderson L. Humphreys son William Harv Humphreys born 1851.
William Harv Humphreys had a son Allen Caperton Humphreys born 1889. Allen Caperton had a son Norman Randolph Humphreys born 1921. Norman Randolph Humphreys had a daughter Sandra Lee Humphreys 1949. The Humphreys had big families and I would love to find them all. Anyone researching the Humphreys please write and we may connect or I might be able to share with you some leads.
