My cousin was the chairmen of her local (NC) DAR and she said I couldn't use the book, her name is not listed on the Adams will and none of her children are listed. Dogone I would have been thrilled to have the DAR under Adam. Let me know if it goes through. I did join the DAR but had to use Jacob Berger and he was Adam Smith's wife's grandfather.
