Don't know if this will be any help, but my husband's GAUNT/CORBIN line in Culpeper Co., VA show a connection to a RIXLEY. Here's what I have:

BENJAMIN W. BROWNING (born 1851, Culpeper Co., VA -- died?)
married ELLA RIXLEY (no dates) in 1882, Culpeper Co., VA.
