Surnames: Wentz, Wintz, Wince
Peter Wentz/Wintz born between 1750-1758 probably in Montgomery Co, PA, married Maria Magdalena Ruckstohl of Upper Salford, Philadelphia, Montgomery Co, PA. They had
4 known children: Catharina, twins Johanne and Philip, and Peter. There are probably other children that I do not know about.
A Peter Wintz is listed in the 1810 Culpeper Census. I believe he died in 1821 in Culpeper Co. His wife Maria died somewhere between 1810 and 1821.
I am looking for any records on this family and will gladly share what I have. I descend thru the son Peter who married Catherine Mason and lived his life in Monongalia Co, VA(WV). The son Peter spelled the last name Wince.
I am told there is a will for Peter Wentz/Wintz in Culpeper Co but have not located it yet.
