Re: Scotts and Spouses
The only thing I have to share on Scott is:
Culpeper Co Marriages:
John Scott & Tabitha Lockhard 9/1830
Martin N. Scott & Kitty Newlin 11/1/1827
Moore Scott & Rachel Evins Popham 8/3/1786
Reuben Scott & Susanna Petty 3/10/1789
Young Scott & Sally Tapp 2/25/1800 minister John Picket [Baptist]
There is a Samuel Scott in Caroline Co not sure its yours:
Militia Fines 1834-1836 a detailed listing of militia members:
Court orders badge of mourning for Samuel C. Scott, Esq. who died suddenly and copies of
their resolution to his widow and his aged parents. 8 May 1848
To take it a step further another Scott: "Thomas Scott' of Caroline Co

Frances Scott.] Exors. Capt. Samuel Haws, John B. Roy, George Yates adn sons Rice Scott and James Scott.
