Looking for further information on Williams family. My greatgrandfather was John Williams, born about 1854 in Culpeper, VA. Have info on him living in Cedar Mountain District. His father's name is Quaminy (various spellings as Quanimy, Quarmerly, Quarmer) Williams. Found a Quanimy in Virginia death records (2/11/1878 in Culpeper, VA) born about 1795 in King and Queen County, VA. John's mother's name may have been Nancy. Running into some roadblocks. Unknown as to when Quaminy moved from King and Queen County to Culpeper.
