I know there are 3 different Thomas Hughes from Culpeper, VA that have Revolutionary War service, but I don't have documentation to prove my Thomas Hughes. The family DAR papers won't work as proof anymore foe some reason. I have an Ancestry DNA file on record and am hoping that someone who has more information about the Thomas Hughes will be able to provide me with more information conclusively one way or another. After all, if I can prove it via the DNA match, then its pretty much a lock!
