Needham SMITH (b 1775, d 1845).

Needham SMITH m Tabitha TILLMAN - their son English SMITH (b 1798; d 1861.

English married Margaret DEAN (b 1802). Their daughter, Margaret Jane SMIT (b abt 1830; d 1907) married Wiley Franklin HODGES (b abt 1830; d abt 1863).

Need any documentation on this line. My ggg-aunt's notes show that this William SMITH was the son of Augustine SMITH (b 1725 Westmoreland Co VA; d Oct 22 1781 Farquier Co VA) and Ann MARSHALL (b bef 1725 Westmoreland Co VA; d bef Oct 22 1871 in Farquier Co VA).

Have verified DAR tracing of a William SMITH as son of Augustine SMITH who was Revolutionary War supporter - but need to be sure that William SMITH is the same one who married Mary Richards.

Would like to talk to anyone with knowledge of this line.
