Surnames: Castle, Hylton,Martin,Boothe, Slusher
I am trying to learn the lineage of my grandfather ALBERT MARTIN CASTLE. b. in Willis, Floyd CO, VA in 1867 or 1870
His parents were HARRISON CASTLE and MARTHA E HYLTON.
I believe he was the grandson of MALINDA MARTIN and EDWARD CASTLE. His other grandparents were AUSTIN HYLTON AND RACHEL BOOTH/BOOTHE.

My 94 year old Mother would like to know if her father was Irish or English. I believe the Boothe line is English and I wonder whether the HYLTON line is English or French.
I am also trying to learn if grandfather CASTLE was decended from JACOB CASTLE. If that is the case then it would point to German and Native American. Is MARTIN Irish? I have an Irish grandfather on my father's side and Grandpa Martin was from Ireland. SLUSHER sounds English.

Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks, Sali
