Virginia was very good about recording names of parents on marriage certificates. Have you written to Bedford County or called the Circuit Clerk's office to see if they have it and how much to purchase it? It's usually a photocopy fee of a buck or less.!! Good luck to you.
I have a J.D.Scott 5-5-1819 to 4-11-1903 buried in the Roy McGuire,Jr cemetery, near intersection 634 and 678 in Franklin County. Mary is listed there as well, and William S. with matching date, Charles Robert as well, and Wilson E. Seems to be a family cemetery if you can get more information on it.The daughters may be there under married names as well. Have you tried findagrave.com. This info came from my Franklin County Cemetery book I purchased at the Franklin County Historical Society. Perhaps they could help you also. If I can help further , please let me know, but I live in Illinois.
