Thanks so much. Wesley Mattox was brother to my 3rd great grandmother, Rebecca Mattox/Maddox, who was married to Joseph Bolling. It was their children who were part of the lawsuit that Wesley Mattox brought against Zachariah Ellis and as a result of the suit, took the inheritance that the Bolling children as well as Zachariah Ellis would have enjoyed. One of these days we'll find the connection to Abraham DeHaven and why he named the Bolling children as heirs in his will.
