Wow! If I have my lineage facts correct (don't we all?) then you and my husband would be distant cousins. You're probably exactly who I need to talk to about this line.

My husband's great-grandfather was John Harvey Flick (b: 1875 Giles County). He married a Caldwell from Mercer County WV. According to marriage records in Mercer County, John's parents were Edward and Ann. I also found a record of a marriage in 1872 for Ed Flick, son of John M N Flick and and Ann Bruce and Ann Hale, daughter of John D and Jane Hale.

I have also seen Ann (wife of Ed, mother of John H) listed as Caroline Ann. If you think I'm on the right track, I'd love to exchange information with you. I'm trying to finish up a Flick Family Book for a reunion next month and this piece of the puzzle would help tons. My email is flickster@cox.net
