Patsy Pryor (d/o John Pryor b 1700 and Margaret Gaines, granddaughter of Robert Pryor b ca 1666 and Betty Virginia Green) was b 1739 Gloucester CO VA. She m1 Charles Smith with children Lemuel Smith m Perkins, John Pryor Smith, and Margaret Smith m Dabney. She then m2 Mathews Flournoy ca 1760 with children Robert Flournoy m Cobb, David Flournoy m Conn, John James Flournoy m Grant,Martha Flournoy m Wells, Samuel Flournoy m Martin, Mathews Jr, Thomas, Francis, Patsy Caroline, and Lucy. In the 1760's Patsy and Mathews Flournoy settled in Scott CO KY where Mathews established Fort Flournoy. Probably 1785 he was killed by Indians in the Cumberland Gap while conducting his thirteenth party of settlers over the mountains from VA. Patsy died in Scott CO KY 1797.
