Thank you for your offer of assistance. I am looking for information on Chapman G. Hale born 1824 in Dis. 19 Elk Creek Grayson Co. Va. He died 16 Aug 1854 and not sure which Hale cemetery he is buried in. His father was Stephen Hale Sr. 24 July 1783 Grayson Co. Va. died 16 Feb 1854 his mother was Frances Jane Bourne 5 June 1788 Knob Fork, Grayson Co. Va. died 19 Sept 1803 Grayson Co.
Chapman married Mary Margaret Isom of Independence Grayson Co. they had at lest two sons, John Feilden Hale bn 28 Jun 1847 grayson Co. and died 21 Feb 1928 Leesburg Cherokee, Ala and David R. Hale born 13 Dec 1849 in Grayson Co.
I have these dates but unable to find anything except the 1850 census to understand anything about his short life (died age 30) I would like to write a story about his life for my family history, however unable to find anything except the above dates and family connections. If you can find anything, occupation, etc to add to my story i would appreciate it. He died so young perhaps an accident, illness etc.
