I am looking for information regarding the parents of John Floyd Sykes who may have been born in Greensville County around 1806. He may have married Martha Louise Jefferson in Virginia around 1829. He moved to Northampton county NC in 1839. He had at least eight children-Sally, Margaret, Thomas, Benjamin, Louise, John and Clara. Margaret married William Moody and lived in Greensville. Daughter Louise married George Welton and lived in Zion, Greensville.
