My ggrandmother was Fannie Bett Guthrie (c.1880 - 1971) who married Thomas J. Tribble. She talked about growing up in the Nathalie, Halifax County, VA area, and her father as having fought in the Civil War. She and Thomas are both buried in a church cemetery right in the middle of Brookneal. They had 5 children: Minnie, Thornton, Lois Estelle (my grandmother), Johnny, and Bea.

Fannie Bett is the only Guthrie relative I know of. Can you help me find out more about her family?
