Yes, Rev. Samuel Davies was the Pastor of the Polegreen Church and from that beginning Salem, Beulah and Bethlem were former.
Samuel Morris is the gentleman that owned the land that was used to build the first Reading Room before the church was formed. He was referred to as "The Dessenter" because he stayed away from the Anglican Church and started the Reading Room and later was able to call Rev. Samuel Davis.
I know more about what he did than who he was. I would love to work on the family genealogy of this Samuel Morris.
