NEED LOCAL ASSISTANCE in finding the naturalization records of Albert Franz Jahnke, Sr. (b. 1826 in Prussia and d. 1915 in Richmond, VA.) Information states that he arrived in USA in 1848/1850, and came to VA ca. 1850, first to Petersburg area, but by mid-1850's was in the Richmond area. He was a jeweler, founder of the well known Jahnke Jewelry Store in Richmond. In the 1900 census, he states that he is a naturalized citizen. Lived in both Richmond (Richmond City), and in Bon Air (Chesterfield Co.). Jahnke Rd. in SW Richmond is named for him. He married Mary Beaufort Chalkley in Henrico Co. in 1859.
