Place in Henrico Called "Coxes"??

Classification: Query
Surnames: Roper, Cox, Coxes
Within the death record of James R. ROPER (b abt 1799, d Nov 1870 - Henrico County, VA), this James ROPER is described as being born at "Coxes". For most of his life, James R. ROPER resided at a plantation in Eastern District of Henrico just South of Almond Creek adjacent to the Central Road (now Darbytown Road).

Is anyone familiar with a place in Henrico or even elsewhere in Virginia known as "Coxes"? Was one of the Cox plantations known by this name?
