Richmond VA surnames

Classification: Query
Surnames: LUNDIN, DOERFLINGER, FENDRICH
For City of Richmond, VA surname index.

I gave these to the original owner a long time ago, but with all the changes to mey email address, they were probably dropped.

My LUNDIN ancestors came to Richmond in the 1850s; many relatives are still there.

My immigrant LUNDIN ancestor, Charles Joseph Lundin (anglicized from Carl Johan Gustaf Lundin), married a native of Richmond, Josephine Amelia DOERFLINGER, in 1859. Her parents had moved to Richmond from Philadelphia in the late 1830s. Amelia's father was from the archduchy of Baden in what is now Germany, and her mother was Swiss, named FENDRICH. I have a reasonably good handle on the LUNDIN and FENDRICH families but am woefully short on DOERFLINGERs.
