The funeral for the late Lewis Collier Ford, age about 25 years of Axton, who was accidently electrocuted Saturday in Norfolk, when he came in contact with a fallen live wire, in the performance of his duties, were held in the Axton Baptist church yesterday afternoon. Those who accompanied the body from Norfolk were Messrs. C. D. Saunders, W. F. Ford, J. H. Powell, Mrs. J. W. Kelly and Miss Elisabeth Ford. Mr. Ford was a son of the late Wm. N. Ford and Mrs. Ford of Axton, and besides several brothers and sister at Axton, has a number of relatives in Martinsville, among them Messrs. O. D. , H. A., T. M., and P. S.
