John,
I checked my book "Early Va. and its settlers" by Thelma
Bastow and I see only one entry that may be of interest to you.
The surname Guine a Thomas he is reportedly deceased between 4-1622 and 2-16-1623. He was killed at James Citte in an Indian
Massacre.
There is another Thomas Guine listed also deceased at the same time but this one died at a plantation next to James Citte. It is uncertain if this may be the same person.
All other variations are not shown.
Hope it helps
Elaine
