John,
I checked my book "Early Va. and its settlers" by Thelma Bastow and I see only one entry that may be of interest to you.
The surname Guine a Thomas he is reportedly deceased between 4-1622 and 2-16-1623. He was killed at James Citte in an Indian Massacre.
There is another Thomas Guine listed also deceased at the same time but this one died at a plantation next to James Citte. It is uncertain if this may be the same person.

All other variations are not shown.
Hope it helps
Elaine

Mary Jo,
All I have for John Clarke is what I previously sent.
There is a Thomas and 2 Williams mentioned.
Thomas was listed as living in the Virginia Colony of Jamestown in 2-1623.
The 2 Williams were living in Elizabeth City in 2-1623.
Whether these are related is unknown.

Looking for any info on Hickerson Hicks/Hix. He's my 4th great grandfather. The only thing I've been able to find is his listing in Rev. War in Buckingham Co. He was the father of Anthony & Josiah. No info on his spouse. We've been searching for 5 years now. Thanks for any help.

Marsha,
I do not see any of your surnames. I have a Hitchcock, Hickmore and Higgins.
Do you have any one that can do research for you at the
Richmond libraries? I have a man that helped me , he may be able to help you with your very early research.

D.J.
I have 2 references for a John Carter in the Early Va settlers by Bastow.
1. John Carter living in Va in 2-16-1622 in Sherlow Hundred.
2. John Carter living in Va in 2-16-1623 in James City.
Hope it helps your search
