My grandparents are Wesley and Wessie Herington. I have been researchingthem also. My dad is J.W Herington. Bernice is my aunt. I have gotten back as far as Keaton Jones and found that his father was born in Missouri. On the Herington side I have gotten back as far as the Cassils and that his father was born in Ohio.
