I am a descendant of Cornelius Dabney..I am searching for anymore information on his second wife, Susannah Swann, who was reportedly a member of the Pamunkey tribe. Some claim she was a daughter of a Thomas Swan, but I believe that has been disproven. They had a son, Cornelius Jr.,who married Sarah Jennings..I descend from there to BG John Dabney and Anna Harris. Their daughter, Rebecca, married Edward Warren..their daughter, Joanna, married James Womble..my maternal 4th great grandparents.
Very interested in finding if the connection with Susannah is true...there is also info that says she was related to Pocahontas.
Thanks.
