Davis family/Middlesex VA

I have a Morgan Thomas Davis who was supposedly born in 1793 in Middlesex, VA but have not been able to connect to any family. Some sources give his father as Jefferson Davis but have not connected.
He married Nancy Jane Welch in Surry NC in 1812; her parents were: Ephriam Welch and Elizabeth Miller. Do you have a Morgan Davis?
