Tarlton Bailey was born March 5, 1794 in St Anne Parish, Albemarle, Virginia. He married Malinda Wheeler on Dec 12, 1816.
His second marriage was to Elizabeth Hudson April 18, 1841

Tarlton died October 31, 1874 in Lafayette Township,Clinton County, Missouri.
