Looking for information on Lawson Goens b. 1807 and his descendants. Wife was Sarah (Hart( Goens)(b. Apr 1, 1810, birthplace unknown) who died in Jefferson County WVa. Birthplace of Lawson is unknow, but know he raised his children in Jefferson County, WVa. They may have relocated to Loudoun County. Va. He died first, wife Sarah moved in with daughter Nancy until her death. Their children and who they married are listed below:

John Francis b. Aug 4, 1832 d. ?, he built caskets, lived on Mt. Gillian with a wife in a log cabin.

Stephen b. Feb 28, 1836 d. Apr. 4, 1890, went to live with brother John at Mt. Gillian, heard he relocated to Pittsburg, PA
Frances Virginia b. Dec 28, 1837 d. ?, married James Douglas Roper on Jun 14, 1860, known children: George William b. May 13, 1864, Mary Virginia b. Nov 7, 1860, maybe a Martha E. b. Nov 10, 1875 d. May 18, 1900 and Nancy Clara.
Mary Catherine b. Apr 18, 1840, married George Marsh, relocated to Michigan after civil war
Charles Henry b. Mar 16, 1844, buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Hagerstown MD, married Louisa Victoria Roper, lived on Mt. Gilliam for 27 years, kids: James Douglas, Rosie-married James Throthman, Fanny, Mabel-married Howard Miller, Florence-married Frank Rhine, Alice Sophy, never married, Eliza, Annie E, Charles, Neva Elrita -married Lee Howell.
