I do not have this marriage to Lou C. I agree with the other two posters to this thread, Geroge Perry, and William Shoemaker, that William B. Shoemaker m. Elizabeth Americus Myers. Perry shows m. 28 Dec 1885 (post of 3 Feb 1999) and Shoemaker shows 16 Sep 1880 (posts 23 Jan 1999, and 5 Feb 1999) which is the date I have. The Loudoun Co. Marriage Registers show on 1880:209:

16 Sep 1880, cer. by Jas. McDonough;
Groom: Wm. Shoemaker, 22y, single, b. Loudoun, res. Loudoun, Farmer; parents: Josiah & Amanda;
Bride: Elizabeth A. Myers, 22y, single, b. Loudoun, res. Loudoun; Saml. & Olivia J.

Elizabeth "Bettie" Myers was the dau of Samuel W. Myers & Olivia Jane Wynkoop. She was b. 24 Sep 1854 in LC (LC Birth Regs. 19:1[52]) and died aft. 4 Aug 1918 (Listed as survivor in "Frederick News" death notice of brother Luther Roger Myers)

Children of WBS & EAM:

i. Cliven W. Shoemaker b. 25 Apr 1884 in Leesburg
ii. Henry Shoemaker b. 30 Sep 1895 in VA, d. Dec 1971

and as per this thread, Shoemaker (posts 23 Jan 1999, and 5 Feb 1999)

MYERS #2: Mahlon H M(1850-1909) son to #161[Israel T M(1814-74)] lv Leesb; m.(1)1878 Mary Jane Coates(1859-1885); m.(2)1892 Mary A. Shumaker(1865-1943) dau to Josiah S of Lovtvl.
