It appears that the date of William Horseman’s will was 10 Nov 1814 and it was received in court 13 Feb 1815.
The only suit recorded in the Loudoun Order/Minute Books around that time period for William Horseman is the following.
Minute Book 6, 1812-1813, 10 March 1813
[p. 255] Wm. HORSEMAN vs Geo. LEE's Exor. – in debt – judgment for the Plff subject to the decree of this Court rendered in the cause of DOUGLAS & wife vs LEE's devisees at the last term.
Does the will state specifically that the suit was William versus Joseph, or only that a court award was to go to Joseph?
Recordings in the Order/Minute Books usually state only that there was a debt due and do not specify what the debt was for.
