Interested in discovering the identity of the wife of Thomas Atterberry, son of William Atterbury and Sarah Mitchell who was born in Louden Co Va circa 1744. His youngest son Richard J. Atterberry's death record in Hart Co KY in 1861 lists his mother as Luraney. Can anyone identify her? Some old family records originally suggested she was Bridget Murray; however, Bridgett was the widow of Thomas' brother William when they lived adjacent to one another in Chester Co, SC circa 1802/3 so she cannot be the mother of Thomas' children, as Richard was the youngest and was born 13 Jul, 1798. Note: Any spelling of Atteberry will do.
