I am searching for Mary Johnson of Louisa (born 1870s?) and her daughter (Anna Johnson born 1890's-1900)in Ashland Va(?). In your below post you mentioned a database that you are using. Have you come across either person in your database? Anna is African American but Mary may be listed as African American or mulatto.

BTW, Anna married an Andrew Tate but a birthdate of 1876 makes it unlikely your Andrew is the same.
