Philip Tate, b. 1861, was one of the youngest children of Addison Tate by his first wife. He married Ella E Turner and had five children. Catharine, the second and only girl of the five, died as an infant. After searching a long time for Walter P Tate, the eldest, I found he went by Pendleton W Tate and found him in about all of the appropriate census listings, with his mother living with him. What I am having trouble finding is any information on his three younger brothers, William H Tate 4 March 1886, Edward R Tate, 4 June 1889, and Thomas J Tate, Feb 1891. The whole group should be around Louisa County, Virginia. I did find Thomas in 1930 but that is it. Does anyone else have this family?
