The information I have is limited but I'll share. John Bugg born 1733 married Lucy Pennington born 1742 in 1758.Lucy was the daughter of William and Mary Pennington. John is named in the 1784 will of William Pennington as son-in-law and one grandchild names Benjamin Bugg (Brunswick Will Book 2 pages 259 and 365. He is also named brother- in law- in the 1795 will of Sack Pennington. John and Lucy Bugg had twelve chldren: Benjamin, Zacheriah, John, William, Jesse,Elizabeth(m Daly, then Daniel),Mary(m. Walker),Frances(m.John Nance), Sarah(m. Lanier), Lucy(m. Gee), Martha and Marris. John Bugg's will dated Jan 31, 1801, Mecklenburg Will Book 4 pages 262 and 264 stated that Martha's portion of the estate was to be held until the death of her husband. I have no further in on this family at this time.
