Thank you for your response. One thing that I am curious about is the possible relationship between Jesse Thomas and James Warner Thomas (immigrant from Wales late 1820's or early 1830's). Below is a link to a document that contains some research that was done on the Barneck/Thomas Place, that was built by James Warner Thomas in 1834. There is a deed showing that Jesse's wife Matilda and children received a part of the land that James Thomas built the Barneck house on. It appears that there must be a relationship between Jesse and James Thomas, in order for Jesse's family to be deeded part of the Barneck land.
