Edward CARTER, Esq. of Edmonton, Middlesex, made a Will dated 18 Oct 1682, proved 29 Nov 1682. In this will he leaves his other planation in VA, called "MONASCO Plantation" lying on the No. side of the Rappahannock River to his son, Edward CARTER. This info. taken from New England Hist. and Gen. Reg. vol 47, 1893 p.125. I am trying to find a copy of this Will and to locate the plantation or plantation records. I am also trying to find the location of Edmonton. My ancestor was John Manasco m. to Susannah Maxwell named in their son's Will, James Manasco of VA. I have no other information on John or Susannah.
