I am trying to learn if there is a connection between two of my lines that married DANIEL girls in Middlesex Co., VA in the early 1700's. I have Rachel DANIEL, b. 10/14/1704, married Thomas AMIS or AMESS of the Heugonot colony 11/14/1722. Rachel is supposedly the daughter of James DANIEL (b. 1680) and granddaughter of Captain William DANIEL. I also have Mary DANIEL who married Ralph SHELTON 6/10/1731 & moved to Amelia Co. Does anyone recognize any of these DANIELs?
