I too have some people who lived in the Massie's Mill area. (Page, Norvell, etc) But seems that the Massie Mill I read about was in Albemarle County, or at least in the Albemarle County Virginia Road Orders, available on the VA department of transportation website (along with Road Orders of the 1700's to early 1800's in other counties of that region). There are two sets of Road Orders for Albemarle Co, one for mid-1700's I believe, the other for mid-1700's to around 1815 or so. There is a Massies Mountain on the present Albemarle County - Nelson County boarder, roughly midway in that straight part of the border. Massie's mountain is about a mile NE of where Robert (L.?) Page Sr. lived on the short headwaters of Taylor Creek in Albemarle County, just before it flowed across the border into Nelson County. But I sure would like to know where Massie's Mill was/is.
