A group of approx. 43 families left Northumberland Co. VA to migrate to the area around Bath NC ca 1690s; Farnefold Green led the bunch, evidently. Farnefold Green's father-in-law was Rev. John Farnefold who may have been an Anglican priest at St. Stephen's Parish or another Anglican church close by. Rev. Farnefold was also appointed by King William to be one of the board to help establish the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. I am trying to learn how these families connected with each other 'way back then, since my Fulford ancestor was in the group who migrated, and he and Farnefold Green were friends and compatriots at that time, but they were also ancestors on a number of my father's family lines. Could you help me by suggesting a website to locate more data on the St. Stephen's Parish? I have sought a lot through a univ. library where I live, but nothing has leaped off the pages at me. Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Florence Fulford Moore
